Micah Chetta is an associate attorney who serves Wagenmaker & Oberly’s nonprofit clients and focuses on corporate formation, federal tax exemption, intellectual property, and international philanthropy. Micah seeks to advance each client’s interests through careful attentiveness to the goals involved, applicable legal constraints, and creatives solutions that promote each nonprofit’s own unique mission.
Micah joined Wagenmaker & Oberly’s Charleston, South Carolina office in 2020, bringing a diverse range of experiences to his current legal work. Micah has worked for the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office as well as a South Carolina Circuit Solicitor’s Office. Additionally, he previously volunteered with several nonprofit organizations involved with family and youth development, and he has traveled extensively for medical and musical mission trips. While studying at South Carolina School of Law, Micah served as an Articles Editor for the South Carolina Law Review and was an officer of both the South Carolina Moot Court Bar and the student chapter of the Christian Legal Society.
Micah enjoys playing basketball and soccer, running, reading, and playing violin and piano.
