Allison Hiott

Paralegal

Allison Hiott is a paralegal at Wagenmaker & Oberly who is involved in the Startups, Federal Tax, International, and Real Estate practice groups. Allison has always been passionate about advocacy and nonprofit work, and therefore joined Wagenmaker & Oberly in an effort to combine those passions in a new and exciting way.

Allison holds degrees in sociology and psychology, and recently attained a master’s degree in criminal justice. Before joining Wagenmaker & Oberly, Allison served as an aide and translator at a nonprofit residential safe home for survivors of human trafficking in the Charleston area.

In her spare time, Allison is proud to be a leader in her church’s youth group, an avid hiker and traveler, and enjoys hosting dinner parties with her husband and friends.
