Emily Hock

Emily is a paralegal in the Fundraising and State Compliance and Tax Practice Groups. Since joining the firm, she has valued the opportunity to collaborate with clients, helping them navigate challenges and maintain compliance for their charitable organizations.

Prior to her legal career, Emily taught high school history and spent a year supporting accreditation and compliance in graduate medical education. She attended Charleston Southern University, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Social Studies Education.

Emily currently resides in Charleston with her husband and son. Outside of work, she enjoys running, playing tennis, and exploring all of the beautiful places our country has to offer.
