Jessica Lyons

Associate

Jessica Lyons is an associate attorney serving clients in the Corporate Practice Group. She assists Wagenmaker & Oberly's nonprofit clients with a wide range of corporate matters, including contracts, governing documents, and legal compliance issues.

Prior to law school, Jessica worked as a caretaker for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through this experience, she gained a strong appreciation for nonprofits’ beneficial impacts on communities as well as a deeper understanding of their distinct legal challenges.

Jessica graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where she served as the Executive Production Editor of the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies. She received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Health Privacy Law, recognizing the highest grade in the class. Jessica also earned her B.A. in Political Science from Boston College, where she graduated magna cum laude, and was inducted into the Political Science Honors Program.

In her spare time, Jessica enjoys cooking, watching movies, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
