Sofia Skok
Sofia Skok is an associate attorney who serves nonprofit clients through Wagenmaker & Oberly’s Corporate and Real Estate Practice Groups. Sofia advises nonprofits on legal matters including corporate transactions and structuring, property transfers, and property tax exemption. She enjoys addressing clients’ nonprofit legal questions, particularly to effectively advance their missions.
Prior to joining Wagenmaker & Oberly, Sofia practiced law for a national law firm, where she focused on real estate and finance transactions. Sofia also clerked for the Honorable Robert T. Numbers of the US District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
Sofia graduated cum laude from Notre Dame Law School, where she was a Church, State, and Society Fellow. After her first year of law school, Sofia interned at the Archdiocese of Chicago, where she assisted with real estate and tax matters. After law school, Sofia served the nonprofit sector as a Good Counselor Project Fellow, a program that assists nonprofit religious organizations.
In her free time, Sofia enjoys cooking, golfing with her husband, and going on long walks with their golden retriever.
