Will Sorensen

Paralegal

Will is a paralegal serving clients of Wagenmaker and Oberly’s Federal Tax and International Practice Groups. He supports clients who are seeking tax-exempt recognition with the IRS, requesting tax reclassification, or addressing other federal tax compliance matters.

Combining his international experience growing up in Sendai, Japan and his work as an intern for a House committee on Capitol Hill, Will is passionate about global development and providing a path for non-profit legal efficiency.

Will graduated from Wheaton College with a B.A. in International Relations, cum laude. At Wheaton College, Will served as a mentor to students offering peer to peer reviews and coaching in career preparation.

While living in Minneapolis, Will also mentored inner-city youth and served at his local church. His heart for nonprofits engaging with their local communities fuels his efforts at the firm to help clients in meaningful ways.

In his spare time, Will enjoys exploring the Windy City and playing pickleball.
